The Wimberley Payers presents – Brave Combo – The World of World Music Cultural Sharing Series

Way back before the pandemic, Brave Combo was scheduled as the grand finale of the Wimberley Players series, Five Saturdays of Cultural Sharing series at the Wimberley Playhouse. Now the Brave Combo event is moving online on August 8, beginning at 5:00 pm.
From an amazingly wide range of musical styles, Brave Combo has planned this one hour, family-friendly concert specifically to wrap up the Players’ cultural series. The concept of Five Saturdays is to showcase other performing groups that provide top entertainment with insights into the heritage that produced their music. Previous performers have represented Teatro Vivo, Glass Half Full Theatre, and Spectrum Theatre, all of Austin, and Indigenous Cultures Institute of San Marcos.
The Brave Combo concert picks up on the cultural sharing theme, with a program entitled, ‘The World of World Music.”
Funding for all Five Saturdays of Cultural Sharing is provided by a Cultural District grant from the Texas Commission on the Arts, matched by generous donations from individuals and organizations.
