10th Annual Hometown Patriotic Concert

The Wimberley Community Chorus together with the Hill Country Community Band will present a free concert of patriotic songs and other American favorites. Bring the whole family!

The Wimberley Community Chorus and the Hill Country Community Band are coming together to celebrate July 4^th this year with a concert featuring our country’s best-loved music!  Hear all of your favorite patriotic songs at this concert at 3:00 P.M. on Monday, July 4^th, at the Wimberley Baptist Church, located at 15951 Winters Mill Parkway.  This will include “America the Beautiful,” “Battle Hymn of the Republic,” “God Bless America,” “Hymn to the Fallen,” “Stars and Stripes Forever,” and of course, the “Salute to the Armed Forces,” in which flags of the branches of our country’s military are presented by the Color Guard.  In addition to all of these, there will be many more wonderful songs to celebrate the birth of our nation!

The Wimberley Community Chorus will be directed by Ed Snouffer, with his wife, Andrea, accompanying the Chorus on piano.  The Hill Country Community Band will be directed by Dr. Manuel Arambula.

The Chorus and Band are happy to be performing together again after several years missed due to Covid, and they would love to see the community singing and enjoying music together again.   Please put it on your calendar today!
