Baccus Capital Investments is a commercial real estate investment firm that acquires office, industrial, retail and raw land properties throughout the southwest, with an historic focus on Texas and Arizona. Buck Baccus, a Wimberley resident for the past 10 years, created Baccus Capital Investments in 2015 as a platform for future investments. Buck has over thirty years of experience in the ownership of commercial real estate properties, with an acquisition history that includes over fifty projects in thirty different markets throughout the southwest. Jake Baccus, Wimberley class of 2011, is excited to be starting his career with Baccus Capital Investments as an Asset Manager. In addition to his work on many new projects, Jake focuses on The Lumberyard where he works with tenants and oversees the daily operations at the property. In April of 2015, Baccus Capital Investments acquired The Lumberyard Office & Retail Center having watched the property for many years and noting the potential growth of the greater Wimberley area. The Lumberyard Office & Retail Center is currently 100% occupied with a tenant line up that includes Annie James, Blink Optical, Burleson Design Group, Bioperformance, Inner Healing, Rustic Design Imports, and Wimberley Valley Radio. A redevelopment plan is in the works with a target completion date of the first quarter 2017. The Lumberyard Office & Retail Center is located at 111 Old Kyle Road, within Wimberley’s historic “Square”, and backs up to the beautiful Cypress Creek.
